the last out was made
in Regina on July 29, it marked the end of season for
the Weyburn Beavers. This team endured more than its
share of injuries and departures; from the start of
the season, we lost 6 pitchers and 3 position players
from our roster for the entire season.
On
behalf of our entire organization I would like to
thank our fans, business sponsors, and billets; their
contributions to our ball club are what make it possible
to bring the WMBL to Weyburn.
With
the return of Head Coach Terry Smith and a core group
of returning players, 2010 holds promise to be a turn-around
year for our ball club.
